Not Knowing Doesn't HAVE to Be Ugly

. As far back as I can recall I have always enjoyed creating images. It all began at a very young age with a box of wax crayons. Since then, I have created works of art with everything from water paints, pastels and pencil to acrylics, oils and markers... etc. etc. During the early winter months of 2000 I obtained my first computer. I barely even knew how to start it or shut it off correctly and wasn't sure what I would even do with it at first. Having never been much interested in games I found the Microsoft Paints Program and spent a great deal of my spare time creating works of art with my new best friends, 'the pixels'. Once I had created a collection of graphics with very limited level of computer knowledge I decided to share them by posting them on a website. I had no clue at all about HTML. I didn't even know what HTML was. I struggled with a horrible free page builder for almost 2 years. I finally could take it no more and set out to learn HTML. My first attempt at webmaster of an HTML site (which is only 8 months old to date) gets over 50,000 hits each month. As the months pass and the traffic flow continually increases and reaches amazing totals my love of graphics has been transformed to include a love of HTML coding. |
